The Monash International Affairs Society is proud to open applications for the Monash University delegations to the Harvard WorldMUN 2020 (held in Tokyo, Japan) and NMUN 2020 (held in New York, U.S).
This is your opportunity to participate in an award winning delegation, to engage with like-minded people from an array of cultures, and improve your model UN and debate skills while participating in a highly authentic and competitive environment at two of the world’s largest conferences.
A world of travel opportunities awaits you all with this Global Model United Nations Program. No matter which degree or student you are, you all are eligible for this fantastic opportunity to visit the illustrious and central major city of New York, or the increasingly popular travel destination of Japan!
Please answer all the questions and information correctly with true information. Otherwise we may note be able to proceed with your application.
Compared to previous years, MIAS has changed two important aspects of the application process.
(1) You will not be able to preference between NMUN or WorldMUN. By applying you will be considered for both delegations. If you cannot attend any of the two conferences for extenuating circumstances (i.e. visa problems), please indicate this in the additional information section.
(2) If you participated in the Monash University Global MUN program TWICE OR MORE THAN TWICE, you will not be able to apply until 28th June (i.e. WorldMUN ’18 ’19; NMUN ’18 ’19; NMUN ’18 WorldMUN 19′). Any applications submitted before this date by people who are participated twice or more will not be considered.
The selection process and criteria remains confidential and we are not able to disclose any information related to them.
Students are also required to be or become members of the Monash International Affairs Society.
Applications close 5pm on 12th July. No late applications will be accepted.
