MUN 101

The Monash International Affairs Society is proud to announce our new publication: Model UN 101!

This initiative aims to be a guide for all things Model UN. We introduce you to some of the key MUN procedures and rules, and provide you tips and advice from some of MIAS’ highest achieving MUN Alumni. We are hopeful that this booklet inspires you to adventure into the world of MUN and embrace, and provide you with some guiding tips along the way.

This publication was made possible thanks to many generous volunteers. MIAS would like to thank the past students interviewed who graciously offered their time to provide their best tips and MUN advice. We extend our warmest thanks to Michelle Lim, Harrini Ratnanesan, Santino Raftellis, Hamah Hosen and Ryan Attard

Thank you to the MIAS committee for supporting this initiative, specifically Imogen Kane, Jacqui Gill, Arshiya Merchant, Winuri de Alwis and Chloe Gibson for contributing, transcribing and organising the publication. Thank you to Rose Russell and Devan Phillipson for providing feedback and edits. Thank you to Jacqui for the graphic design and formatting of the publication. Many thanks to Arshiya and Neha for assisting with formatting the publication.

Thank you to Kaylah Salvini for marketing and promoting the publication so it can reach students.
