On Tuesday it was an honour for our members to hear from H.E. Izzat Salah Abdulhadi, Ambassador of Palestine. Ambassador Abdulhadi spoke on the history of Palestine, relations with Israel, and the two-state solution.
He was also kind to entertain questions from the audience and give us a personal insight into his role as a diplomat. This included fostering relations between Australia and Palestine as well as his hopes for the future.
We would like to thank His Excellency for visiting Monash University and speaking with our students. We look forward to working together in the future.
