The Monash International Affairs Society (MIAS) is grateful to have hosted a presentation from H.E. Grigory Logvinov, the Russian Ambassador to Australia. On Tuesday, 31st July, the Ambassador spoke to a room full of engaged students regarding Russian history, Russian foreign policy, Russian relations with the West, the Syrian Civil war, and the alleged Russian interference in the American Presidential elections.
Our members received a robust, entertaining, and insightful presentation from Mr. Logvinov and were appreciative of the opportunity. Additionally, the Ambassador kindly answered questions, at times complex and challenging, from those in attendance in order to address specific queried and concerns.
MIAS would like to extend our gratitude to His Excellency for his time, and hope that our members had an incredible time.
